Skal is the Control Authority designated by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs to be responsible for the inspection and certification of organic companies in the Netherlands. It monitors compliance with regulations and issues the European organic production logo.
Dutch mushrooms with the Fair Produce hallmark are produced by companies that treat their employees fairly. The Fair Produce Nederland foundation certifies only those companies that have demonstrated that they pursue a social personnel policy that meets all requirements.
