Having our own drying facility also helps with flexibility to balance supply and demand so that we can actually use all the harvest for market. We are growers at heart. We want to deliver an (h)honest product that is healthy in every way and is fully customized to our customer’s needs.
Together, these give a huge CO2 reduction. In addition, we generate a significant portion of our own energy this way. But surely the most striking thing in production is the far-reaching automated picking: an innovation we have been working on for years, together with a world leader in setting up turnkey solutions for mushroom farms and composting companies. This innovation is unique in the world and will contribute greatly to more efficient production in the future. Our goal is to keep a box of mushrooms affordable for consumers.
